Time to Strategize – Election 2008 Strategy Guide

This past weekend the New York Times posted 6 Reasons Why Obama has emerged strong from the fight with Hillary Clinton, while Time Magazine posted McCain’s 7 step process to beating Obama. Progressives beware! These are essentially the arguments that are going to shape this election. It is nothing revolutionary, however it outlines the points we need to combat or push whether your a rank & file or think-tank leader.

Elections often boil down to a simple one or two issue ordeal, despite the enormous complexity and spinning that goes on. Why did Nixon win in 1968 & 1972? Because the Democratic Party turned off Middle-America. Why did Mondale lose to Reagan in 1984? Because the economy had naturally rebounded. Why did Clinton win in 1992?
