Many are deeply alarmed by the new Arizona law that allows the police to stop any person, American citizen or not and deman d their papers, to prove that they are not illegal immigrants. They can do this without a warrant, provocation or even reasonable suspician. The law is so vauge that a police officer can harrass any person who is arguably not white. Latinos are black too! Forget a bout the fact that Latinos are white as well, we know what’s going on here, and it is the first step toward making non-white Americans second-class citizens. The first step towards facism.

Thankfully, we live in America, with a wonderful document called the Constitution. It virtually guarantees that this law will be shot down, yet there is more to this story. Say what you will about America, and believe me, as someone who has traveled abroad, many people do. However while I was in those countries they tended to be primarily one race, and what minorities do exist, are largely poor peddlers on the street.
