Election Night What a Sight

Say Hey Mr. WB, how many deaths are we going to see?

I got sick on Election Day, and to the best of my challenges, I made it to the polls. If my grandmother, may she rest in peace, can vote when she knew she was dying, I certainly can vote when I’m sick.

Voting in my family has always been a big deal. Therefore, I will always vote in this country. I love this country and will fight till they take my last dying breath from me to make it a better and fairer place. Such people who have done so have had more success at changing this nation than any authoritarian fool. It really is the best strategy to fight for what you believe in!
I came home from my stupid history classes that have these neo-nazi moron right-wingers (the new radicals). The returns were coming in from 20 different places. It actually sounded good for a time. I had this good feeling that the young vote would finally make a stand. My gut new better, of course!

My ex came over and gave me soup and medicine. It was nice to have someone who cared on a day where everyone fights for his or her own best greedy interests.

When I saw that Ohio was tilting the other way, and I learned that it was because of some anti-gay marriage initiative that got the most turn out, I was outraged. Bigots, I thought! They have the nerve to say that Jesus is on their side. Jesus would not even look at those scum-eaters. They are the problem, the selfish, cut my taxes, protect me from the fags and minorities and defend our way of life (whatever the hell that means). Jesus would be in the trenches with the black transsexual whores and trying to live by example, not hole up in a rich mansion and speak of God and taxes in the same discussion. According to the Bible I read, Jesus was a humble man who lived simple. He was working class, a carpenter, and understood the hardships of life. I could not see Jesus in a Walmart purchasing a DVD player for his F-350, whining about Liberals because they care so much about other people, then telling the underpaid clerk to “just hold on”, while he answered his belt-buckle cell phone. The pleasures of material possessions are fleeting and shallow.

“Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”
— Matthew 19:24 Bible

My fever started to pick up, so I went to bed. I knew it was over. I went to sleep and had hallucination dreams of that stupid election. I had dreams where there were 3 state ties that we’re too close to call and other wishful thoughts. They were very convincing as well, my mind can play amazing tricks on me sometimes. I kept snapping out of it and realizing I had shut myself away from the media. I fell under a new daze. Luckily, I had the anime, Metropolis playing on TV. It transported me to a different world that was safe and completely fictional. I saw a cute middle-aged blonde concession stand attendant ignore her balloon and hot-dog selling duties, to jump into the street and play the saxophone, and sing at the same time. Little notes came out of the sax. It was like an adult McDonalds commercial without that God-Awful clown or any of the other lame purple or miniature or teal or whatever the hell cast! It was a place I never wanted to leave. It was filled with pleasure of all sorts and all the colors were bright and passionately cheery. For once I had an awesome hallucination dream. Don’t get me started on that awful Home Improvement sick-nightmare I had!

I didn’t turn on the news or broadcast TV, or listen to the radio, I ignored it for many hours. When I finally did, it was in the car, on the way to the market, where I was bombarded with only 2 lines, Kerry, saying it was over, 1, I put a tape on. Then I needed to fast forward a tape, damn my stereo for switching to radio, I heard Bush proclaiming his “historic victory.”

I was furious. I remember all the things I heard, culminate into one big statement. I heard wishes for the South to secede again, a friend had renounced his faith. ANGER was flowing through my sick mind, I thought to myself, CIVIL WAR!

Sickness can cloud my judgment.

Then I saw the truth. This election will not strengthen the Right Wing; it will chop it off at the pillar’s base, and force the non-religious repubs, to defect. I have seen this coming for quite some time. A recent strategist predicted a civil war in the red party if they won. The Dems are becoming the party of business, and that is destroying the populist roots, but hell, that’s gone anyways, all the business repubs are going to begin to defect. The Dems will be left as the party of business, the repubs will be the failing religious party, and we will have no party, that is us, the people. Yes we still count, even if diebold machines can’t, like in Ohio (http://apnews.myway.com/article/20041105/D865R1DO0.html).

Of course, Labor is the wild card in this mess, however it seems since the Union leaders got a raise from that god-awful supermarket strike, that they are now the pigs on the animal farm. Mr. Orwell knows best.

That makes perfect sense. We will be screwed as usual in the name of capital. The only joy will be the destruction of the Republican Party. Perhaps in the chaos, a 3rd party could rise. Maybe we could define parties in the constitution finally. Of course this is only one of about 10 scenerios in my mind that can happen.

Play 10 steps ahead and you will win at chess. If only we were playing chess!

Politics is a much more complicated game, and Power, the game that politics plays, is even more complicated. A movement is only as powerful as the anvil it holds over the politicians heads. With the Left organizing online, we can do it if we all stick together and fight for one clear objective, 3RD PARTY RIGHTS! Unwavering, unshakable, alliance. Much like the women’s right to vote movement. We keep a broad platform with a tight agenda, and just lay into the powers that be. We lay into them, and lay into them, until people notice. Then when people notice, we will gain more strength. Then don’t waver, just use bigger guns. Fight and fight and fight till the damn politicians give up! Boycotts, letter writting campaigns, protests, clever manipulation of the media, all organized by the internet.

Now it all makes sense, I thought. The Progressive movement will come! The muckrakers of today ARE the documentary filmmakers. This is a golden opportunity for the Republicans to fuck it all up, and now, finally, take ALL the blame, Reagan called it the “Whole Enchilada”. You know, I didn’t know what position to take under a Kerry White-House. I couldn’t bring myself to endorse the war. Now it’s Bush’s problem. I couldn’t endorse the ailing economy, now it’s Bush’s problem. WHO WANTS TO BE PRESIDENT ANYWAY! Best of luck you declining fool! The only incumbent president in recent history to be elected by a margin that is contestable. He’s seriously one of the largest failures in presidential history. The only reason Bush won was because of Karl Rove, and his pact with the devil. LICK BUSH! Impeach the failed wanabe commander.

Let the shrub dig his grave. He certainly deserves it. I know it will be deeper than 6 feet. I hope the Bush family gets him a flame retardant coffin, cuz he certainly will need it!

The Invasion of Fallujah will begin any day. It is likely to be a blood bath, and will achieve nothing. It’s too bad Bush wasn’t a reader, otherwise he would have read Steinbeck’s “The Moon is Down”, in which the Nazi occupiers could not control the unnamed European city because occupation is a losing battle. In the end the Nazi’s lost (this was written during the WW2). Steinbeck was a good man, and he understood humanity. My personal experiences as a rebel without a clue have led me to the same conclusion, illustrated so beautifully in Metropolis:

Wherever there is light, a shadow will follow.

No institution will have control, no software will avoid piracy, no politician can understand the will of the masses, especially in another country.

So it begins!
This is a wake up call for me. It’s the call to action, and it’s an all out declaration of war on those that stand in the way of true progressive reform. I realize I am a think-tank man. I need a team of people to help us achieve success. If only there were some allies here. 😉

This horrible disaster for America can be just what it is, an age where a wolf in sheep’s clothing guides the flock into disaster. Or it can be the end of a failed era, and the birth of another.
