I’m back
Regulars of Soapblox may have noticed the long absence, hopefully, lol. We had some technical issues and life in general just got to busy for me and my programmer, so it was put off for almost 8 months. Well, it pleases me to announce that WE ARE BACK!
Yes, ready to wash the world’s mouth out anew and take the fight to make the world a better place.
A lot has changed since I last posted, though the fundamentals are the same. I had been posting about the Occupy movement when last I wrote, and it was a cause I was pleased to be a part of. You may see some photos of that in the coming months. Today Occupy is more a cause then a movement, much like its Tea Party counterparts, though they continue to fight for what is right.
The 8 months passed by one of the most laughable Presidential campaigns in existence as well. Oh but I was watching, and laughing as Rick Perry made all unintelligent people look bad and the rest of the loony bin crumbled to itty-bitty pieces as well. You can count on the fact that we will be here for the rest of the battle for the White House.
There are many other issues that were missed as well, though I must confess that my heart hadn’t really been in politics for the past couple years. The election 2010 was very disheartening. It was not so much the Tea Party as it was that so many of those people had no clue what they were even fighting for and they got so much joy out of making their fellow countrymen angry while they shot themselves in the foot. It was also the corporate oligarchy that is developing in this country. A handful of billionaires are more influential then the rest of their fellow countrymen combined. Yet they each only get one vote, don’t forget that. That is why it is so important that we carry the fight to their front door and let them know that America is not for sale!
The technical aspects of this site also got disheartening. We made this site so long ago that its primitive software held back changes from being implemented and it was too old to upgrade. It had to be created from scratch. When you have 8 years of articles, that can be a bit of a tricky situation. Well, when the site finally went kaput, for unknown reasons, it demanded the attention that it needed and at long last, we are live and back once more!
So I hope that you enjoy the articles I will be writing. All I can say is, it’s good to be back and I’m not going anywhere!
