Rupert and Hillary sitting in a tree? Yes it’s true. American politics most ambitious first lady and media’s most unethical king are not just becoming good buddies, Rupert’s holding a fundraiser for her!
Hillary of course defended the alliance with political dodging, however the truth is obvious. The writing is on the wall. This is politics at it’s best, and it’s as disappointing to Republicans as it is to Democrats.
I’ll bet all those righties who called Hillary a murderer and got all their news from FOX feel pretty stupid right now, as they should, as should we all. This is what politicians and corporate power mongers do, they manipulate the emotions of others to hold on to and gain more power.
Perhaps that’s why FOX news ratings are plummeting in the Neilsons.
I saw this coming and have been warning friends and family, but I never went on public record. First off, the righties have been shifting their views of Fox and some of the far-right have even attacked Rupert as being too far left (yes there really are people with no brain cells living and walking among us), showing that the Republican party is fracturing into many pieces and the pro business side is shifting to the Democrats.
Secondly, Rupert has been courting the Clintons for some time now. Rupert has a lust for power, not ideology, and he seems to pick winners (i.e. Tony Blair) which is further evidence of the decline of Republican domination, and a clear indication of the behind the scenes work that Hillary and Bill are getting done in preparation of a presidential run.
Finally, Bill gave Rupert the greatest gift of all, his policies helped FOX own more! He wasn’t as kind as Reagan and Bush I, but he still allowed FOX to continue to expand, at a time when they were being sued for growing too big. Rupert never truly showed his appreciation, but perhaps that was just economics. He made a lot of money calling Bill an adulterer, and he’ll make even more money calling his wife President.
