I would curse here regularly if I didn’t have more class. LOL, my momma taught me better. However, since this article contains clips of the late George Carlin, not using the word Fuck seems kind of silly, especially since this rant is one of massive anger. I mean, our #1 American beer company was sold off to a country that puts a picture of a pissing statue on its own brew. So, in the spirit of Mr. Carlin, Fuck it, just this once. Now please proceed, let me tear your ticket and enjoy the show.)
This week has been an awful week for America. On the eve of celebrating our 232nd Anniversary, the time since the 4th of July has been plagued with trouble in the stock market, the near collapse of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, numerous banks on the chopping block, the bankruptcy word thrown around in the same sentence with GM (remember, “what’s good for GM is what’s good for Americaâ€) and now, the selling off of American beer giant Anheuser-Busch to a Belgian beer rival. What the Fuck is going on?!
Well, my fellow countrymen and women, we are witnessing the wholesale sell off of American power and, more importantly, the end result of full-scale, free-market, Capitalism with a capital C! All the talk of deregulation and “let the American market dictateâ€, like some chaotic wildfire that can selectively burn the right trees, has consumed the end of our resources. We are witnessing the end of cheap American Labor, the failure of our pension system and the absolute, fully Republican culpable, collapse of our medical system.
We knew this with GM, however, et tu Budweiser? How can it be? Not the King of Beers, not the sponsor of every sport from NASCAR to Baseball, Football to Extreme Motocross! Every place I grew up hearing the F word is now going to be tainted with, dare I say it, imported beer! Are we going to wrap a big Belgian flag around the American Clydesdale Horses? Are we going to drape a big “for sale†sign on the famous St. Louis Gateway?
This marks the end of an era folks. No longer will America loving rednecks be able to turn to their beloved Bud and cry #1. Now, it is practically an import. Perhaps the Belgians (who make some of the finest beers available, I must admit) can bring some taste to our patriotic Bud, since Bud tastes like tap-watered down fomented moldy bread. Regardless, we loved it, just like our crappy cheese! It was an example of our industrial might, our mother fucking ability to break the bank with piss water in a can. Still, this is a travesty, a pure example of the betrayal of American business against its naively loyal citizens!
Will the others sell too? Will Mr. Coors, after a failed attempt at running for Republican Senator of Colorado, be bitter and sell off when the time is right? What about Union Made Miller? Will they give up as well? That “Union Made†tag has gotten awfully small lately. Bad news folks! They’ve already been sold. Miller is owned by a South African company and even Coors is foreign owned. The age of the International conglomerate has officially overtaken the age of American Industry, which is no more.
Maybe they can just brainwash us a little more, yeah? Maybe they can convince us that it’s even good for our country. I can see it now: no mention of Bud being sold from the makers of Bud, yet the commercials will get even more patriotic. The beer cans flying in the air through a stream of water, the American Flag transposed in the background waving in slow motion, the Sam Elliot sounding voice over, sonically planting a “don’t tread on me†flag into a can of Bud and Bud Light while the last unexploited Bob Seger track spews off a tired and dying image of American glory.
What a bunch of bullshit! WAKE UP!!!
The America we knew and loved is gone. The times have changed. The same folk that talk of immigration are making a killing on cheap labor at home and abroad. In fact, they are outsourcing YOUR job, or one just like it, to a cheap Indian firm that promises “better quality at a price that cannot be matched by your American labor pool.†The well fed, well manicured, unbelievably well paid CEO of a rich American corporation sees profits, the rate of stocks, the bottom line not performing to fat greedy Wall Street’s expectations and says: “Fuck it! Fire the lot of these leeches. They have it too easy in this country, this nation is just a bunch of whiners!†As he proceeds to his limo, he may tell himself lovely thoughts about how his $200 million salary is justified by his ability to keep costs low and profits high, he may garnish that notion with slurs about the laziness of the American worker, he may further tell himself that he’s helping America by delivering low cost crap made in China, or customer service born in India. He then drives home avoiding the bad parts of town by taking the freeway home to his beautiful mansion and trophy wife with good news, honey, we’re moving to Tahiti!
Meanwhile the buckling hull of American industry gives another few inches, leaving hard working men and women, who gave their whole life’s energy to this stupid company, alone in the engine room, the middle managers alone at their battle stations and the prominent top commanders to guide what’s left of this sinking vessel, we call American industry, into port before it goes belly up.
These traitor CEOs and board members may know how to talk the talk, yet they are not willing to walk like an American. They sell their nation out for profit, they sell it out for greed, hell they sell it out for a blow-job and a free stay at a fancy hotel. They fill their heads with justifications and lies, talk about the free market to their associates, remind themselves of their own remarkable rise to power and mutter some bullshit about the American Dream.

It doesn’t matter if the CEO is male or female, black, white, red, yellow, green, they always see the bottom line. They have this naïve belief that the world can be run by a government of free trade and ordered around by the natural mystic power of the free market. Wow! You know, even as a child I thought Karl Marx’s dream of a wonderful Utopia where everyone works to help each other out was about the most naïve daydream a man could contrive, yet Adam Smith (author of the Wealth of Nations, the Capitalist Manifesto) was no prized trophy winner himself. The idea that capital can save the world is about as stupid a notion as anything ever conceived by anyone at any place in time in the history of humanity. Oh yes, let’s make the rich, richer, and the poor, poorer and somehow the world will be a better place because we’re smarter than you lowly idiots. Wait, isn’t that called aristocracy, not democracy? Let’s remove borders, no more wars, let’s make the world one big happy, smiling free-trade system of capital-loving, rugged individualist, greedy mother fucking pigs. No more unique currency, just one big salute to the rich banks that own your soul. War won’t break out, no. Because the people will be so just goddamn happy that they are being fucked in the ass against their will. Horary for the rich people who earned their way to where they are! They are SO superior to us that there is no question that they should be our bosses, managers, rulers and presidents. What Aldus Huxley’s Brave New World calls the Double Alphas, the Super Elite, groomed to be our masters, while the rest of us are left to shovel shit and operate the menial tasks of life. There is no longer pride in the basic work of life, only a bottom up praise of the glorious commanders that lead us to… well, quite frankly the same damn place they always lead us: their control.

It has achieved nothing but make you little fat greedy fucks just a little bit richer, tanner and fatter. Well I’m happy for you. Why don’t you invite the people you screwed royally in the ass to get where you are over for dinner this Memorial Day? Since you are so in touch with humanity and love your own story of how you got rich as an example of what people, in general, can achieve (if they are as perfect and lucky as you I guess), why not show the same level of sportsmanship our G-Money Basketball and Football players show, give back!
All you Christians out there who think the mark of the beast and Revelations will come from Liberals and the UN are poor misguided souls being led off to slaughter by a wolf in sheep’s clothing, well, more like a FOX. You have been fooled by big fat politicians owned by the vampire CEO Corporate Board of elite, filled with big fat lies (and full of, yep, shit to the gills I might add). You’re all fighting for the wrong side. No, I don’t mean Democrats and Republicans, see that’s where you got fooled. I mean US and THEM, U.S. and THEM.
See it isn’t some global peace organization without an army that will break down your door in the middle of the night and force you to accept your fate, it will be your own army and your very own children busting down your door with the but of an M-60. It’s not the Liberals who ban Army grade assault riffles from the streets who will disarm you, it will be the American Army with better guns made from the same people that fund the NRA.
In the end, it is power that will disarm you. Power is what will buy and sell this American Democracy. Power is what will drive humanity over the brink, into the abyss (or lake of fire for all you Bible types). Power is the enemy. The corporations are run by some decent people, yet many slave owners were good people too! It is the institution of the corporation that is inherently evil. It drives for more power, more wealth, more dominance, more, more, more, more, while using up every ounce of resources it has left, extracted from the Earth and sold to you to gobble up like a little fat sow, being plumped up for that inevitable day. It is the conquest of power that is at the root of all evils. It even outranks money. Money is power, and power is not money. Money buys you power and that is why a CEO with $6 Billion in the bank wants more. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. So an absolutely corrupt politician is driven by power to achieve the ultimate brass ring, absolute power.
Our beloved founding fathers fought and bickered about everything from a secular government to keeping slavery legal yet there was one thing they all agreed upon: that people cannot be trusted! No matter who they are, no matter what they have done. Checks and Balances are a system designed to mistrust everyone by using their own selfish conquest of power against others just like themselves. This is why government is slow. This is why American politics is so God Damn tiring.
What you need to know is that both parties in this country are still very different, however, not for any morale reason or anything so completely naïve as that. Honestly, if you believe your politician has any morality in him, then you don’t know politics, and honestly, maybe you should consider NOT voting. This isn’t a game. This is YOUR future, YOUR children’s future, YOUR grandchildren’s future, and it’s being purchased and sold off, one brick at a time. If you want to be a fucking idiot, go vote in the next American Idol. They love that ignorance over there in that camp. Go praise the next flavor of the moment as your golden idol and embrace the distraction the powers that be have given you. Meanwhile they carve up your freedom, your money, your life into bite size morsels. Pre-packaged in little plastic bags and sold off to anyone with the cash.
What I mean, is that Democrats are NEW money and Republicans are OLD money. Republicans love old industry, oil, banks, retail, deregulation, free market capitalism, large unjustifiable tax-breaks for the top 1% and big fat government contracts. HAHA, and you thought they were for smaller government, well Mr. Heartland Conservative, what the fuck is the God damn Army? Besides smaller government is code for privately funded corporations that do the same damn thing our men and women in uniform can do, just at three times the cost.
Democrats are NEW money. They love media and better paying jobs like Union run Costco where a person can top out near $20 an hour, as opposed to the Fucking Walmart, where a person can spend their whole life never reaching half that. Democrats, however, are wimps. No, not because Liberals have no backbone, because they aren’t Liberals to begin with. The Democrats are as far to the Right as yesterdays Republicans. They are wimpy because they all come from the same rich lot as the Republicans. They love big fat unjustifiable tax-cuts too, since they are the ones who will get it.

We the people of this great nation are getting shafted. It is time for change and even the politicians know it. Guys like Obama are nothing new, he will bring us modest reform, not change. Yet guys like McCain will only perpetuate the problems we are experiencing. He and his lot of greedy industrialists will distract us with pretty words about America and God and Country and blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah, while they rob the treasury of its gold and hand it out to their greedy rich friends. That’s what two Bushes and a Reagan did (like some twisted threesome), that’s what McCain will do, bottom line, pure and simple, plain and fact, get that through your thick ass skull!
Today a co-worker showed me one of those stupid-ass internet rumor emails about Obama. It compared that same picture of Obama when he visited Kenya and was handed a ceremonial robe (the same one Hillary used against him), against one of the pictures of John McCain, in uniform, when he was smiling, against a plain, in black and white, looking like God Damn Donna Reed Show. Hmmm, must have been in between the times he was calling his wife the C word while cheating on her and the time that he left her with no provocation. I digress! The caption read, “Do you have your head up your ass!†As if it was obvious by using completely out of context photos that one is truly AMERICAN, while the other is a God Damn terrorist, Muslim, Black Power, Hippie, Liberal, am I forgetting one, oh yeah, communist bastard. It struck me as another one from the Satanic Rove Playbook, the application of the Satanic arts in politics.
As someone who has been on the internet since 1995, internet rumors have told me that the Chairman of Proctor and Gamble was a Satanist, that saving can tops can buy a little boy time on liver dialysis and that George Carlin said that Jesus was the only way into heaven. LOL, thankfully, the internet also proved all three and many more lies false. The truth is out there folks. All you have to do is use your head!
Vote strategically America. Vote for Obama not because he is a good speaker or young and attractive, vote for Obama because he is the last hope we have to save our nation from destruction. He can shift our country away from deregulation and away from massive tax-cuts for the top 1%. Did you know that the average American making the average salary of $40-60K a year will receive a better taxcut with Obama than under John McCain? You know why? Because John McCain can’t afford to give you a bigger taxcut. He’s too busy blowing our budget on massive taxcuts for the TOP 1%, and many of you don’t even realize that the difference between McCain and Obama for the top wealthiest 1% is a difference in paying an extra MILLION DOLLARS a year in taxes!
This is reality folks. We’ve had 30 years of Republican Conservative domination. Are you better off? Is the nation? Has abortion been over turned? Have religious nuts got anything they fought for. NO!
Again, I say, wolf in sheep’s clothing. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Stop worrying about figurative, idealist causes that have detached you from reality, hahaha, YES, that’s right! You Conservatives need to be told you’re a bunch of idealists out of touch with reality. OH HOW THE MIGHTY HAVE FALLEN AND THE TIDE HAS TURNED!!! Again I laugh, but seriously, we need you, the time to gloat was yours and you enjoyed it immensely. You proved to be 100% FUCKING WRONG, and as usual, us Left of insanity get to poke a little fun yet, there is just too much work to get done to enjoy it. Well, thanks for fucking it up you Conservative assholes, now get your mother fucking ass over here so we can get some work done!
Our industry is in decay because we have been suckered by talk about abortion and culture, while the Republicans distracted us, the corporations moved our jobs to Canada, Mexico and China. There is NO culture war. There is NO difference between us. We are all middle to lower class AMERICANS and we are all getting screwed. We are also all witnessing the decline of our great nation.
Running out and buying cheap Chinese made goods will not save us. Voting Obama will help, yet it may not be enough. 30 years of Reagan, 2 Bushes and a Right-leaning Clinton (with a Republican Congress) have brought us to the brink. They sold us out!
